Corker Event a Success; Upcoming GOP Dinner

I wanted to thank everyone who came out to Sen. Corker's town hall forum meeting. Sen. Corker took some questions and discussed Health Care and Energy Independence. He also stated that would be going to Iraq during this month's Congressional recess to talk to Gen. David Petreaus about the improving situation in Iraq.

I want to make sure that everyone knows about the Campbell County Republican Party's Country Dinner on October 5. The event is going to be at the Cove Lake Pavilion at 6:00 PM. Lt. Gov. Ron Ramsey is our featured speaker. Tickets for the event are $20. If you have any questions about the event, send us an email.

Sen. Bob Corker coming to Campbell County

Sen. Bob Corker will be in Campbell County on Friday, August 17. The event will be at the Jacksboro Municipal Building, in the City Hall Chambers. The event is a Town Hall Forum and will be from 2:00-3:00. I encourage everyone to come out!

Welcome to the Campbell County Republican Party's blog. I hope this blog will serve as an outlet for up to date information not just in Campbell County, but across Tennessee. We are coming up on a crucial election cycle. Here in Campbell County, we have elections next year for County Mayor, Road Superintendent, Property Assessor, and 5 School Board Members.

Across Tennessee, all 99 members of the TN House and 16 members of the TN Senate are up. That includes the State Senate Seat hear in Campbell County (currently held by Tommy Kilby). Also, our U.S. Senator Lamar Alexander is for re-election. And of course, we have a Presidential election next year that promises to be intense.

I hope this blog will serve our Republicans across Tennessee in getting vital information out to the people over the course of the next 16 months.

Thanks for stopping by and checking out the blog. I look forward to hearing from everyone...
